Project Coordination – Rima Binder
The Friendship Botanic Gardens project is a perfect match for the plant enthusiasts in the La Porte County Extension Master Gardeners Association. Association members volunteer their time in a lovely garden setting, working to their skill and physical levels. Garden work provides something almost anyone can do.
Interns and Master Gardeners work along side Rima Binder, the project lead, to enhance the Friendship Garden experience. Currently tours are being developed for volunteers to act as docents, explaining the flora and fauna in the Gardens.
