Project Coordination – Laura Henderson
The Wabash Street Rain Garden is a cooperative, ongoing project with the Michigan City forester, city staff, and the La Porte Master Gardeners. The MGs, work closely with the forester and city staff to train about native plants and assist with correctly weeding the native plant rain gardens along the northern part of Wabash Street (4th Street to 10th Street).
